Tweet Share Share Email Operation Caring for Camo Show how much you care! Drop off letters, cards and personal care items for our military men and women through April 30. Letters are consistently the most requested items by soldiers. Letters mean a lot to them; a meaningful letter can have a huge impact on a soldier’s day. We can never have enough letters available to send. One of the best things you can do is write some letters yourself, and collect letters from others. If you send us five letters, that makes a big difference to five soldiers. You can send us via email or mail. How do I write a letter? The first step is addressing the letter. Please address the letter to a generic soldier. This can be “Any Soldier”, “Any Hero”, “United States Soldier”, “Hero”, “Any Troop” or any similar term you would like to use. Your letter can be any length but we ask that you make it at least two paragraphs. Feel free to talk about anything, as long as it is positive. Troops enjoy reading about you and your interests. Write to them about sports, music, or whatever you’re interested in. Give them a sense of home and familiarity for a bit. Tell them that you are hoping for their safe return home, and anything similar that you would like to say. If you would like to potentially receive a response, then be sure to include your contact information, preferably an email address. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at caringforcamo@gmail.com.
