Factory Mattress 11th Annual Season For Caring

Factory Mattress 11th Annual Season for Caring

For the 11th straight year, Factory Mattress has helped support our local community by donating new mattress sets and pieces to the Statesman Season for Caring program!

What is the Season for Caring program? Each year, Season for Caring strives to help 12 families in need that have been nominated by local nonprofits. The Statesman then shares the stories of these families with readers who in turn provide donations to help the families get what they are in dire need of. These are usually items that we take for granted daily, such a place to sleep or access to a shower.

The Merediths are one of the 12 featured families in the Statesman’s 22nd Season for Caring program. We were more than happy to donate new beds, mattresses and foundations to this family to give them a much-needed good nights sleep!

This year alone, we ended up with $22,094 in donations and we’ve reached $199,094 in total donations since 2010!  For 2020, Factory Mattress contributed 92 pieces (mattresses, boxsprings, and frames) to those in need and we couldn’t be happier.
