Factory Mattress and Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Texas and San Antonio believe in keeping families close. As a nonprofit organization that has supported families throughout the world for over 40 years, this is an organization that comforts and helps families with critically ill or injured children that we proudly stand with. In an effort to help families when they’re facing a pediatric emergency, we are asking our community to support these families by donating to our Well-Being Wish List Drive at any of our Factory Mattress locations in Austin and San Antonio.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas and San Antonio (RMHC CTX) find endless support to keep fighting and we proudly support and join in on these efforts. RMHC CTX understands how critically ill or injured children are comforted by having their family close-by. At the Ronald McDonald House, families are provided all the comfort, support and resources they need so they can focus on their children. From daily nourishing meals, private comfortable rooms and laundry facilities, this “home-away-from-home” allows families to stay close to their children, and be involved in their medical care while ensuring their basic needs are fulfilled. And as a nonprofit organization, these comforts and resources come from our generous community — and this is where we would like your help.

It is our hope at Factory Mattress that the Well-Being Wish List Drive will provide families who rely on them with much-needed supplies so they can focus on their child’s care and not be burdened with buying well-being supplies like bath or shower products, toys, clothing, beds, sheets, and more.

Comforts at the Ronald McDonald House Charities Include:

• 30 private guest suites with bathrooms. Suites can accommodate up to six people; wheel-chair accessible rooms are available
• Four private guest suites with kitchenettes for families with children in outpatient treatment
• Home-cooked meals provided by volunteers
• Kitchen and dining area with microwave, refrigerator, and ovens
• Laundry facilities
• Internet Access with free WiFi
• Fitness facility
• Play area and playground for children
• Entertainment area with video games
• Complimentary bus vouchers available for families without transportation
